We’re so glad you’re here, taking the first step toward a healthier, brighter smile with Meridiana Family Dental. We understand that visiting a new dentist can feel overwhelming, but you’re not alone. Whether you’re learning about our services for the first time or ready to begin a treatment plan, our Arcola dentist and support team will greet you like an old friend.
You’re trusting us with your smile, something that’s intrinsic to who you are and how the world sees you. We’re serious about that responsibility but not so serious that our office is formal, impersonal, or too technical. At your first visit, you’ll be greeted warmly by our staff, asked thoughtful questions by our dentist, Dr. Richard Sung, and feel at home in our treatment rooms. Here’s what to expect:
We offer new patient forms online, but if you waited until you reached our office, we can guide you through the process.
Our dentist will review your dental and medical history, assess your mouth, and perform any necessary diagnostic imaging.
We’ll discuss your health, share any findings, and collaborate on a personalized treatment or preventative care plan.
If it’s been a while since your last visit or your health requires it, we’ll provide a gentle dental cleaning to kickstart your care routine.
Your oral health is an investment in your well-being, but we know that many patients don’t feel they have the funds for that investment. That’s why we offer several options to pay for care.
We proudly accept nearly all major PPO insurance plans and help you get the most out of your benefits. Need a little more flexibility? We’ve partnered with trusted financing companies to create payment plans that work for you. We invest in you by providing these choices so that you can invest in your smile.
Yes! Please bring your insurance card (if applicable) and a valid ID. If you’ve had recent X-rays or dental work done elsewhere, try to bring those records as well.
Your first visit typically lasts around 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on your individual needs and whether we need to do any additional diagnostic work.
We understand dental anxiety is real, and we’re here to support you. Our team is trained to take things at your pace. Share any concerns with us upfront, and we’ll work together to make you comfortable.
For most patients, we recommend visiting biannually for a checkup and cleaning. However, when we create your treatment plan, we’ll go over how often to see our dentist near Rosharon, TX.
We’re ready to walk the exciting path to renewed dental health with new patients, creating not only healthier smiles but stronger connections along the way. Book your first appointment today and become part of the Meridiana Family Dental community in Arcola, Juliff, and Iowa Colony.
“Dr. Sung is attentive and a master at his craft. Dr. Sung and his team make sure the patient is comfortable during any procedure and are always ready to listen…I was nervous about the root canal procedure before it began, but my nerves were calmed a little bit into it. Dr. Sung uses some awesome and new technology with his work, which is settling to know. They have changed my opinion on root canal procedures and I very much respect the team there. Thank you!”
